Job Description
Minimum of 3 years
testing experience.
Experience in Manual,
Performance,Security, Automation Testing with Open source tools experience.
Experience in Shell,
Perl and Phyton Scripting is advantage.
Excellent technical
testing abilities .
Experience in
reviewing product specifications and developing test suites based on product
requirements.
Experience in
evaluating multiple products/solutions for effective test (process) management
Experience in building
test environment from ground-up including set-up of test engines/servers in
variety of environments.
Thorough understanding
and knowledge of Web Technologies/protocols (CSS, JSON, AJAX, SOAP,
JavaScript,HTTP, SSL).
Good knowledge of
encryption, PKI and Certificate management,KerberosGood knowledge of symmetric
encryption algorithms such as AES, Triple DES.
Strong knowledge in
Networking and server side testing.
Knowledge in SQL
(Oracle/SQL Server),
Mandatory experience
in Unix/Linux.
Experience testing in
Web Services using SOAP UI and APIs Testing.
Represent Test
function in multi-discipline agile/SCRUM teams and closely work with
development leads, managers and product owners.
Thoroughly understand
the new product features being implemented
and devise test strategy for the product areas involved.
Develop test designs
and high level test cases and help test engineers to come up with detailed test
cases as part of the testing processes.
Key activities:
Develop QA Plans for
projects within the project portfolio.
Develop test cases and
test scripts for project in line with pre-defined structures and techniques.
Execute planned test
cases and ensure detailed logging of progress.
Produces test schedule
outlining proposed plan for testing on a daily basis along with re-planning
activities due to any impact on test phases.
Provide metric inputs
into daily test status reports for project lead.
Develop test summary
documents outlining actual execution vs planned.
Escalation of any
risks or issues that impact testing and the quality of the product.
